Hi! I’m Angie, a Reiki Master Teacher based out of North Kansas City, MO.
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique, where a therapist uses hand movements and positions to affect the body’s energy channels. It is considered holistic, addressing the body, mind and spirit, and falls into the category of energy healing.
The word Reiki stems from two Japanese words (Rei Ki) which, when combined, translate to ‘universal spiritual energy’. Reiki Practitioners are attuned to this, and can channel the universal life energy to help others, without affecting their own energy. Through the Reiki therapy’s ability to relax the receiver, it helps to reduce stress and stimulate energetic healing for both emotional and physical issues.
Reiki knows no time or distance, meaning you do not have to be in the practitioner’s presence to receive its benefits.

I’ve always been pretty candid about my journey through single motherhood and fighting my way through adversity to reach new goals, hit new targets and find success in wherever I was. Especially with my career and my lack of self-confidence and self love. Reiki and my spiritual journey have been a huge contributors to my success in all areas of my life.
At the beginning of my journey, I was gifted a Reiki session at random for my birthday. My friend had no idea that I had been studying it for months – just knew that it was right up my alley. 😎 This was one of the most pivotal moments in my life… in my healing… in my self love journey. I had my first session with the Goddess who is now my mentor and she saw something in me that I was struggling to see in myself… held my hand and walked me down this self healing path. I dove into learning, loving and embodying Reiki and its principles. My ego screamed the entire time that I was an imposter… unworthy of such a beautiful gift… but I trusted my mentor and most importantly MYSELF to become the now Reiki Master Teacher that I am. It has forever changed my life. The self healing… the self love… and most importantly the self confidence I have found have become pivotal tools in my recent successes.
This is what led to me opening a Reiki practice. I want to share the tools I have learned to help others thrive over just trying to survive. I want to help you through healing your heartbreak, the stresses over career and parenthood, or releasing past childhood trauma.
